Hand-writing the King James Version Holy Bible

Mary’s Bible Project is about the creation of a modern-day illuminated manuscript. I am hand-writing and illustrating a copy of the King James Version of the Holy Bible. We are copying the text word for word, carefully transcribing the scriptures to create a unique copy of this sacred text. You can follow the progress of the project on this page as we slowly but surely, copy the whole bible verse by verse. To go along with the manuscript portion of the project, I am also creating a chapter by chapter bible study. New chapter studies will be posted in the Bible Study section as we complete those same chapters in the manuscript copy.
